Can you give a puppy with parvo a bath?

My 4 month old lab has been diagnosed with Parvo and today will be his 4th day with the virus. We have been following the vets advise which include keep him hydrated (pedialyte) and try to feed him which he won't eat so I'm giving him gerber and giving him colliodal silver (which seems to have improved him drastically he seems much more active but still lethargic). But he kinda stinks and well I was wondering if its ok to give him a bath? I'll probably ask the vet tomorrow while he's getting his daily iv fluids anyways.
