What does your 5 month old baby eat?

I started to give my boy gerber oatmeal at 4 months in his bottle and at 4 months and a half i gave him his 1st applesauce stage 1 from earth's best. he is 5 months and he loves Beechnut's peas, carrots, sweet potato but he cries when i give him stage 1 beef n broth. what do you all give your babies? I gave him his first real banana 2 days ago... spooned*. but his formula is now 6oz every 4 hours.
